PurposeAs a Senior Communications Coordinator, you will supports Guest Operations and Target Financial Services objectives by providing accurate, up-to-date, and well-written policy and procedure documentation, news, and related information on TFS Zone and QuickSource. This position partners with leadership across Guest Operations to ensure team members receive brand right and timely information necessary to do their jobs and service their guests.
See Yourself: - Providing brand writing and navigational expertise for policy and procedure documents, news and information items for department sites on the TFS Zone and for QuickSource
- Drafting, editing and branding content requests from Guest Operations departments to ensure team members consistently receive clear, concise and relevant information needed to service guests
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Guest Operations leaders; counseling and partnering on communication and procedure documentation
- Proactively identifying and communicating opportunities to leverage best practices across QuickSource and the TFS Zone
- Looking for opportunities to enhance efficiencies for content reusability, and cross-linking across sites
- Ensuring overall quality, navigational integrity, and usability of QuickSource and TFS Zone
- Effectively writing and adapting policy and procedure documentation for appropriate audiences within Guest Operations and for the global vendors who support them
- Maintaining relevant and appropriately linked content by managing the document repository of the content management tool Stellent that supports our websites
- Partnering with department leaders to fulfill their communication requests
- Preparing content for publishing to appropriate intranet vehicles
- Creating metadata for documents which maximizes the search function, allowing team members to quickly find the information they are looking for
- Publishing and monitoring deployment of content to QuickSource and TFS Zone
- Partnering with business leaders to update or remove expiring or no longer relevant content
- Ensuring procedure writing adheres to Target collections policies, various state and federal laws, and rules and regulations governing credit and collections
- Managing feedback submitted through the Site Feedback option on QuickSource and department TFS Zone sites, determining and taking appropriate action to facilitate the requests
- Maintaining working knowledge of Target Financial Services credit and retail policies and procedures
- Participating in writing assignments for department websites, guest correspondence and other writing initiatives; writing articles of interest to TFS team members for publishing on the TFS Zone
- Completing special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements: - College degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven writing proficiency, including excellent grammar and composition skills
- Technical and creative writing skills
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Experience with intranets and publishing tools
Desired Requirements: - College degree with emphasis in Communications
- Previous communications/intranet publishing experience in large corporation and/or call center
