Position Summary Perform structural analysis of new or existing communication structures (including guyed, self-supporting; monopoles and their foundations) to ensure maximum yield form all CCIC assets. Prepare formal, written reports regarding tower capacity and any recommendation for modifications. Primary Responsibilities •Perform structural analysis of new or existing communication structures. •Prepare formal, written reports regarding tower capacity and any recommendations for modifications to increase capacity. •Assist in the development of engineer ing processes and standards. •Review analyses to reduce tower stress levels and eliminate engineer ing vendor proposed modifications. •Assist in development of installation specifications for capital projects. •Work with area personnel to ensure database accuracy. •Ensure that all site designs conform with Crown standards, FCC and OSHA requirements. •Ensure CAD drawings are updated to include modifications to existing sites and new construction. •Check all drawings for accuracy. •Other duties as assigned. Requirements •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer ing •Knowledge of CAD and/or structural analysis software a plus •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Excellent organizational skills •Must be able to travel More information on this Job
